Before I started yoga, I used to think yoga is not for me, I am not flexible, and I will never be able to do that pose. Well, I am still not a human pretzel, but what I have learned is yoga is not about getting my feet to touch my head. Yoga is about rolling out my mat and finding freedom from everyday chaos and stress. It is a practice where I find connection between my body, mind, and breath. It helps me flow through life a little more mindfully. Some days my practice provides me with energy, other days it grounds me.
Your yoga practice is whatever you want to make it. Yoga isn’t about the perfect pose, it is about finding your center.
